All papers will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee on the basis of technical quality, relevance, originality, significance, and clarity. All paper submissions will be handled electronically. Papers that do not comply with the Submission Guidelines will be rejected without review.

The manuscripts under review should describe original work and should be no more than 8 pages in the IEEE double column proceedings format including tables, figures, and references. You may download the manuscript templates for the IEEE conference proceedings

In particular:

• papers up to 6 pages will be published with no additional charge
• papers exceeding 6 pages, will be charged 100Euros for each extra page for a maximum of 2 extra pages.

At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register to the conference at the full registration rate and present the paper.

Best Paper Awards and Best Student Paper Awards will be presented.

Only registered and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Accepted papers will be included in the ISCC 2022 Proceedings and will be submitted for inclusion to IEEE Xplore.

The ISCC Proceedings have been indexed in the past by ISI, dblp and Scopus. This makes the ISCC conference one of the publication venues with very high visibility and impact in both Computer and Communications areas.

In IEEE ISCC 2022, all submissions must be done through EDAS in the link https://edas.info/N29322. Please contact the Technical Program Co-Chairs for any questions regarding the submission of manuscripts.

• 2. Steps for the CAMERA-READY submission
  1. Validate your manuscript using the IEEE PDF eXpress. Any changes made to a PDF after IEEE PDF eXpress conversion or PDF Checking may invalidate Xplore compatibility. All PDFs to be included in IEEE Xplore® should be validated through PDF eXpress for Xplore compatibility.
  
  
  • First-time users of PDF eXpress should do the following::
    1. Select the New Users - Click Here link.
    2. Enter the following:
       -- 55528X for the Conference ID
       -- your email address
       -- a password
       
    3. Continue to enter information as prompted. An online confirmation will be displayed, and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
  • Previous users of PDF eXpress
    You need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
  
  
  2. Submit your validated PDF to the EDAS platform.

• 3. Sign the COPYRIGHT for your manuscript

  Use the special link (©) that can be found on the EDAS platform (besides your manuscript’s title) to sign and to submit the copyright form.

  
  If you fail to strictly follow all the above guidelines, IEEE may refuse to index your manuscript in the IEEE Xplore, even though that work may have already been accepted at the IEEE ISCC 2022 conference for oral presentation.

IEEE-ISCC2022 will be a hybrid conference, thus it will support both virtual and physical presence.
The Zoom platform will be used to run the conference (June 30 – July 3).
All Zoom links are included in the conference program.
Both physical and virtual attending authors are expected to make their presentation live.
All virtual attending authors though will record their presentations in advance and submit them to the organizing committee.
The video of their work will be presented via Zoom in the case where their internet connection with the conference does not work properly during their session.
All presentations will be 15 min long, in order to have time for questions and discussion.
All virtual attending paper authors MUST prepare video recordings of their talks by 25 June, 2022.

• The talks should be at most 15 minutes long.
• Record your talk using Zoom, OBS Studio, or any other program, but MAKE SURE that the recording will be in the mp4 video format.
• Name the video file as “iscc2022-paperXXX-video.mp4”, where XXX is the submission number for your paper.
• The file size should be at maximum 200 MB.
• Send the presentation via email to ieee.iscc2022@gmail.com with subject "Iscc2022-paperXXX-video". If the file is too large, use dropbox, google drive, or any other platform, and attach the link (do not share the folder).
• Also attach the presentation (ppt, pptx, pdf) in order to be available, in case it is needed for reference during the audience questions.

Zoom can be used to record a talk by starting a meeting (with the presenter as the only participant), sharing the screen to show slides and the speaker, and use the record feature. The recorded files can be saved locally on the computer in MP4 format.
